•Early inspirations and influences: Born and raised in SoCal, KAYSIN was always immersed in music and art culture from a young age. Eventually he was exposed to electronic music in high school and almost immediately wanted to get involved in the community. He bought his first mixer in college and started producing house music until he made the jump to pursuing music as more than a hobby - Kaysin was born! 🤩
•Discography: Kaysin is a super dope producer and continues to evolve his sound by clocking HOURS in the studio every day. He's put out some incredible music including 2 EP's called "Groove on Display" and "Beliefs" via Get Twisted, a poppin remix of Will Taylor's "The Way" with John Summit via South of Saturn, and most recently another incredible remix of Eyes Everywhere x Dread MC "Tell Dem" via Rock Bottom Records. To put it simply, this guy is a certified hitmaker who is just getting started. 🪄
•Repopulate Mars/South of Saturn A&R: Kaysin has been involved with these labels since the early days and has played an important role in the massive amount of growth and success over the years. We went deep and discussed his role as A&R and process for approving new music along with what they look for with demos. Not only do they release incredible music, but they know how to throw a PARTY! 🕺🏻💃🏻
Kaysin was dropping knowledge bombs left and right throughout this interview and I felt like I was talking to a lifelong friend the entire time. Straight up, this guy is the HOMIE! 🏆
