We are back with a BIG episode featuring UK DJ/Producer Ben Rainey!
I have been a fan of Ben for a few years now and it's truly an honor to have him on the show.
We had an instant connection and had some really powerful conversations on tons of relatable topics for those in AND out of the music industry.
Some of the topics include:
-Early days as a DJ/Producer: Ben grew up in Northern England and hustled his way to becoming one of the most well-known UK house acts today. He gave us the full story on the highs and lows of his early days and lessons learned from that time.
-Ben's Discography: Ben's released some seriously incredible original music and we ran through the stories of some of his biggest tracks from 2018 through now. With massive releases like "Put 'Em High", "Every Single Time", and "Secrets", it's no surprise that he continues to grow on a worldwide scale every day.
-Being more than a "DJ" - Although Ben is an established DJ/Producer, he's been able to grow his brand by developing tons of unique content including themed live streams/sets, production courses, edit/remix packs, DJ lessons, and more. We had a great discussion on how important it is to deliver valuable content to your fans.
-Plans for the future: COVID has put the music industry in bind, but Ben is having the biggest year of his career yet from a streaming and growth perspective. Once live shows are back in the mix, he'll be ready to bring his energy in real life to a city near you.
Can't tell you how much respect and admiration I have for Ben. His energy is infectious and his passion for music is so inspirational. I know there are so many artists out there struggling to find creativity and meaning right now, but just know there are people out there like Ben and I who want to help.
We all can win in this game if we help each other.
